1. Account Rules & Sharing

1.1 Account Ownership

Each player is permitted to register one primary account. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs on your account, including any actions taken by others you allow to access it.

1.2 Account Sharing

Account sharing is permitted at your own risk. DMMPS staff will not intervene in disputes arising from shared account access. If a shared account is found to be used for rule-breaking, all involved parties may be held responsible.

• Do not share your account credentials with anyone you do not trust.
• Staff will never ask for your password. If someone claims to be staff and asks for your login, report them immediately.
• Lost progress, items, or bans resulting from account sharing will not be reversed.

1.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. In the event of a compromised account, contact staff immediately. We cannot guarantee recovery of lost items or progress due to unauthorized access.

1.4 Usernames

Usernames must adhere to the following rules:

• Must be between 3 and 12 characters in length.
• Only letters, numbers, and single spaces between words are permitted.
• Usernames that are offensive, impersonate staff, or are designed to deceive other players are strictly prohibited and may result in a forced name change or account ban.

2. Real Money Trading (RMT)

2.1 Definition

Real Money Trading (RMT) refers to the exchange of in-game items, currency, accounts, or services for real-world currency or items of real-world value through any platform or medium outside of DMMPS.

2.2 RMT Policy

RMT is strictly prohibited on DMMPS. This includes but is not limited to:

• Selling or buying in-game gold, items, or accounts for real money.
• Advertising RMT services in-game, on our Discord, or on any DMMPS-affiliated platform.
• Acting as a middleman for RMT transactions.
• Using third-party websites or services to sell DMMPS-related content.

2.3 Consequences

Any player found to be participating in RMT will face the following penalties:

• First offence: Permanent account ban with no appeal.
• Associated accounts may also be banned (IP and device-level enforcement may apply).
• No refund of any donations previously made will be issued.

DMMPS reserves the right to update RMT enforcement procedures at any time without prior notice.

3. Donations & Refunds

3.1 Nature of Donations

All payments made to DMMPS are voluntary donations made to support the development and running costs of the server. In exchange, donors may receive cosmetic or in-game benefits as a token of appreciation. These are not purchases of goods or services.

3.2 No Refund Policy

All donations are final and non-refundable. By donating, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Donations are made voluntarily and are not tied to a guaranteed service or product.
• DMMPS is under no obligation to provide refunds for any reason, including account bans, server downtime, or discontinuation of the server.
• Chargebacks or payment disputes filed against DMMPS may result in a permanent ban and potential legal action to recover costs.

3.3 Donor Benefits

Donor perks are provided as a courtesy and are subject to change at any time. DMMPS reserves the right to modify, remove, or replace donor benefits without prior notice. These changes do not entitle donors to a refund.

3.4 Server Closure

In the unlikely event of DMMPS shutting down permanently, no refunds will be issued for prior donations. Donors accept this risk at the time of donating.

4. Staff Conduct

4.1 Staff Role

DMMPS staff members are volunteers who help moderate the community, enforce rules, and assist players. They are held to a higher standard of conduct than regular players.

4.2 Staff Responsibilities

All DMMPS staff are expected to:

• Treat all players with fairness and respect, regardless of their status or history.
• Enforce the rules consistently and without bias or personal favouritism.
• Never abuse their access or privileges for personal gain.
• Keep confidential any internal staff discussions or server-side information.
• Never ask players for their passwords or personal information.

4.3 Abuse of Power

Staff members found to be abusing their position — including but not limited to spawning items, unfair banning, leaking confidential information, or accepting bribes — will be immediately removed from their position and may have their player account banned.

4.4 Reporting Staff

If you believe a staff member has acted inappropriately, you may submit a report to server management via our official Discord. All reports will be reviewed confidentially. False reports made in bad faith may result in punishment.

5. General Rules

In addition to the above, the following general rules apply to all players:

• Hacking, exploiting bugs, or using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
• Harassment, hate speech, racism, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
• Spamming, scamming, or deceiving other players is prohibited.
• Any attempt to destabilise, DDoS, or otherwise harm the DMMPS server infrastructure is illegal and will be reported to relevant authorities.

6. Changes to These Terms

DMMPS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the server following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
