Raids
Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood and Tombs of Amascut all decide their unique rewards—the purples—from the points your team earns. On DMMPS your combat bracket multiplies those points for the purpose of unique rolls, so the same raid is worth far more to a maxed account than to a low-level one.
The calculator below works out the purple chance for any combination of points and brackets, who is most likely to receive it, and what the odds are for each individual unique.

Unique rolls
| Roll | Adjusted points in roll | Chance | 1 in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roll 1 | 120,000 | 13.833% | 1 in 7.23 |
| At least one purple | 120,000 | 13.833% | 1 in 7.23 |
Each roll covers up to 570,000 adjusted points at points ÷ 867,500, which is 1% per 8,675 points and 65.706% for a full roll. A raid is capped at 6 rolls. Expected number of purples: 0.138.
Players
| Player | Raw points | Bracket | Adjusted | Recipient weight | Chance of a purple |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Player 1 | 30,000 | ×4 | 120,000 | 100% | 13.833% |
Recipient weight is each player's share of the team's adjusted points at the moment a purple is awarded. Chambers can produce several purples, and a player who already received one is removed from the later recipient rolls, so the per-player column accounts for that.

How DMM Brackets Affect Raids
Every player belongs to a combat bracket, and each bracket carries a unique-rate multiplier:
| Bracket | Combat level | Unique multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Bracket 1 | 3-35 | 1× |
| Bracket 2 | 36-50 | 2× |
| Bracket 3 | 51-75 | 3× |
| Bracket 4 | 76-95 | 3× |
| Bracket 5 | 96-126 | 4× |
The multiplier applies to unique eligibility and weighting only. It does not change the points you see on the raid scoreboard, and it does not multiply common loot quantities.
Every player is adjusted separately, even in a mixed team:
adjustedPoints = floor(personalPoints × bracketMultiplier)
The team's adjusted points decide the purple chance. If a purple is rolled, the recipient is chosen from each player's share of the adjusted points, so both your contribution and your bracket decide who walks away with it.
Solo Raids
In a solo raid every adjusted point belongs to you. You are the only possible recipient, so the team chance and your personal chance are the same number, and your bracket multiplier is applied to the full point total.
Team Raids
Team raids do not give each player an independent full-team roll. The sequence is always the same:
- Each player's personal points are multiplied by their own bracket multiplier.
- The adjusted points are added together into a single team total.
- That total produces the team's purple chance.
- If a purple is rolled, one recipient is drawn, weighted by each player's share of the adjusted points.
A bracket 5 player and a bracket 1 player who each earn 30,000 points in Chambers do not have equal claims: the bracket 5 player carries 120,000 adjusted points against 30,000, so they hold 80% of the recipient weight.
Chambers of Xeric is the one raid that can produce more than one purple, because large point totals split into several rolls. When a player receives a Chambers purple they are removed from the later recipient rolls, so one raider cannot take two purples from the same raid, but two different players can each take one.
How Deaths Affect Rewards
Deaths and weak participation cut your personal points, and that hurts twice:
- The team's adjusted total falls, so the chance of any purple at all goes down.
- Your share of that total falls, so if a purple does drop you are less likely to be the one receiving it.
In the Theatre of Blood the penalty is explicit: each death removes 4 contribution points. In Tombs of Amascut the effect is harsher at the bottom end—any player who finishes with fewer than 1,500 personal points is removed from the unique calculation entirely and receives Fossilised dung instead.
Why Some Purples Are Rarer Than Others
A purple is a two-step event. First the raid decides whether a unique drops at all, then it picks which unique it is from a weighted table. The second step is not uniform, which is why the chase items are so much rarer than the rest:
- A Twisted bow is 2 of the 69 weight in Chambers, so only about 2.9% of Chambers purples are bows.
- A Scythe of vitur is 1 of 19 in normal-mode Theatre, roughly 5.3% of purples.
- A Tumeken's shadow is 1 of 24 in Tombs, roughly 4.2% of purples.
Compare that with a Dexterous prayer scroll at 20 of 69, which is nearly 29% of every Chambers purple. Two teams with identical purple rates will still see wildly different item luck.
Chambers of Xeric
Chambers converts the whole team's adjusted points into a series of unique rolls:
- Add every player's bracket-adjusted personal points together.
- Split the adjusted total into chunks of up to 570,000 points.
- A raid can never make more than six unique rolls.
- Each roll's chance is:
rollChance = pointsInChunk / 867,500
That is 1% per 8,675 adjusted points, reaching 65.706% for a full 570,000-point roll. Points past the sixth roll are wasted.
The chance of finishing the raid with at least one purple is:
1 - product(1 - eachRollChance)
Every successful roll picks its own recipient from the bracket-adjusted personal points, minus anyone who already received a purple in that raid.
Chambers Unique Table
Once a purple is confirmed, the item is chosen from a table with a total weight of 69:

| Elder maul | 2/69 | 2.8986% |
| Kodai insignia | 2/69 | 2.8986% |
| Twisted bow | 2/69 | 2.8986% |
Theatre of Blood
The Theatre tracks hidden contribution points rather than a visible score. You gain contribution by taking part in each encounter, MVP performance awards extra, and every death removes 4. The most a team can hold is:
maximumContribution = 18 × teamSize + 14
Entry mode cannot roll a purple at all. For Normal and Hard mode:
adjustedContribution = sum(personalContribution × bracketMultiplier)
participation = adjustedContribution / maximumContribution
The base chance depends on the mode, and participation scales it:
| Mode | Base chance | Purple chance |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | — | No unique |
| Normal | 19 / 172.9 = 10.9890% | min(100%, baseChance × participation) |
| Hard | 18 / 138.6 = 12.9870% | min(100%, baseChance × participation) |
The Theatre awards one purple for the team, and the recipient is drawn from the bracket-adjusted contribution points.

Tombs of Amascut
Tombs scales with the raid level you invest, from 0 to 550. Any player under 1,500 personal points is dropped from the unique calculation and receives Fossilised dung; everyone else is adjusted normally:
adjustedPoints = floor(personalPoints × bracketMultiplier)
The raid level sets how many adjusted points buy one percentage point of unique chance:
x = clamp(raidLevel, 0, 400)
y = clamp(raidLevel - 400, 0, 150)
pointsPerOnePercent = 10,500 - 20 × (x + floor(y / 3))
purpleChance = min(100%, totalAdjustedPoints / (pointsPerOnePercent × 100))
| Raid level | Points per 1% |
|---|---|
| 0 | 10,500 |
| 150 | 7,500 |
| 300 | 4,500 |
| 400 | 2,500 |
| 550 | 1,500 |
Tombs awards one purple for the team, with the recipient drawn from the eligible bracket-adjusted personal points.
Tombs Unique Table

|---|---|---|---|
| Osmumten's fang | 7/24 | 29.1667% | Raid level 50 |
| Lightbearer | 7/24 | 29.1667% | Raid level 50 |
| Elidinis' ward | 3/24 | 12.5% | Raid level 150 |
| Masori mask | 2/24 | 8.3333% | Raid level 150 |
| Masori body | 2/24 | 8.3333% | Raid level 150 |
| Masori chaps | 2/24 | 8.3333% | Raid level 150 |
| Tumeken's shadow | 1/24 | 4.1667% | Raid level 150 |
Below the required raid level an item that gets selected only passes its restriction 1 time in 50, so raiding under level 150 throws away almost every roll that lands on a restricted item.
Note: Everything on this page describes unique rewards only. Common loot, supplies and tertiary rewards such as pets, Metamorphic dust, Sanguine dust and Ancient tablets follow separate rules and are not affected by the purple calculations above.
