Ancient Weapon & Trinket Drops

Eligible NPC deaths in Deadman Mode make a separate global roll for an Ancient PvP weapon or trinket. This roll is independent of the main Supply Drops system and the NPC's ordinary drop table.

Keep these systems separate: These are global Deadman NPC drops. They are not breach rewards, revenant uniques, or ordinary monster-specific drops. Receiving or missing one of those other drops does not replace this roll.

Eligibility

The server attempts this roll only when every requirement below is met:

  • The game is running in Deadman Mode.
  • The NPC is located in a dangerous Deadman zone.
  • The NPC has a combat level of 100 or higher.
  • The NPC death uses the server's standard global NPC-drop pipeline.

An NPC with custom death or reward handling will not receive this global roll unless its implementation enters that standard pipeline.

The following are not requirements and do not improve the rate:

  • The player does not need to be skulled.
  • A Slayer assignment provides no bonus.
  • PvP bracket drop multipliers do not apply.
  • Scroll of Luck does not apply.
  • Sigil of Prosperity does not apply.

Those modifiers belong to other reward systems; the Ancient Weapon / Trinket implementation does not read them.

Normal Rates

Each eligible NPC kill first has a 1/750 chance to enter this table. After entry, the server chooses one reward group:

StageChanceEffective chance per eligible kill
Enter the table1/7501/750
Ancient PvP weapon group2/10 after entry1/3,750 for any weapon
Trinket group8/10 after entry1/937.5 for any trinket

Every entry within its selected group has equal weight.

ResultEffective chance per eligible kill
Any Ancient PvP weapon1/3,750
One specific weapon entry1/22,500
Any trinket1/937.5
One specific trinket1/2,812.5

These are per eligible NPC kill. They are not conditional breach, revenant, or ordinary NPC-drop rates.

Ancient PvP Weapons

The weapon group contains six equally weighted entries:

RewardQuantityChance per eligible kill
Vesta's spear11/22,500
Vesta's longsword11/22,500
Zuriel's staff11/22,500
Statius's warhammer11/22,500
Morrigan's javelin501/22,500
Morrigan's throwing axe501/22,500

The listed quantity is awarded when that entry is selected. The two Morrigan ammunition entries therefore give a stack of 50.

Trinkets

The trinket group contains three equally weighted entries:

RewardQuantityChance per eligible kill
Trinket of fairies11/2,812.5
Trinket of undead11/2,812.5
Trinket of vengeance11/2,812.5

Ape Atoll Dungeon and Kruk's Dungeon

When the player is in Ape Atoll Dungeon or Kruk's dungeon, the server multiplies the base denominator by 3. This makes the table three times rarer: the entry roll changes from 1/750 to 1/2,250.

ResultDungeon chance per eligible kill
Enter the table1/2,250
Any Ancient PvP weapon1/11,250
One specific weapon entry1/67,500
Any trinket1/2,812.5
One specific trinket1/8,437.5

The reward groups and quantities remain unchanged; only the initial entry denominator is multiplied.

How the Server Processes the Roll

  1. The standard NPC death pipeline reaches the Deadman global-drop hook.
  2. The server confirms Deadman Mode and that the NPC is in a dangerous Deadman zone.
  3. The Ancient Weapon / Trinket table rejects NPCs below combat level 100.
  4. The server rolls 1/750 normally, or 1/2,250 in the two affected dungeons.
  5. On success, it chooses the weapon group at weight 2 or the trinket group at weight 8.
  6. It selects one equally weighted entry from that group and drops it for the player.

This happens separately from the main supply-drop roll and before the NPC's ordinary drop table is processed.
